Responsibilities
The Regional Directorates of Distribution are responsible for the management of all activities related to operations and maintenance of distribution networks in the regions under their jurisdiction, in the medium and low voltage networks and installations related to telecommunications, telemetric and remote control, energy meters in order to receive energy from the National Transmission Network to supply to clients.
They must also accurately measure the consumption of electricity for later utilisation of the information by the Commercial Directorates.
The Regional Directorates report to the General Directorate of Distribution.
