Responsibilities
The Directorate of Operation Systems reporting to the Executive Director for the Portfolio of Operations manages the National Transmission Network, in accordance with the law and supervises the Directors of Operation Market and Systems Operators, including issues of operational security such as authorisation of the transmission teams to work in high installations in accordance with power security rules and the internal and external power demand forecast, identifying generation sources inside and outside Mozambique to meet the needs, through the establishment of Purchase Contracts and Rotation of suppliers and users of bulk energy, marketing and sales at regional level, cross-border electricity trade in accordance with the SAPP market rules.
This Directorate reports to the Executive Director for the Portfolio of Operations.
