Description of the Project
Ø The project consists of the rehabilitation and extension of the Jardim substation to 66/33/11kV,40MVA , anticipate that they will end in August 2014;
Ø Construction of a new substation at Costa do Sol of 66/33 and 33/11kV, 40 MVA, its completion is scheduled for Jun/14;
Ø Construction of a new substation in Zimpeto of 66/33 and 33/11kV, 40MVA. The "cold commissioning" is being fueled provisionally by the former DL5.
Ø Construction of a new substation in Marracuene of 66/33kV, 20MVA. Completed and energized. Building of the Medium Voltage lines is under way to interconnect the Substation with existing lines.
Ø Rehabilitation of the switching station PS1 and PS10. Completed the "cold commissioning" and PSs begin operating in late November, 2013.

Ø Construction of the line SE9 - SE C. Sol. Opening of foundations underway (80 %), raising the towers (70%) and equipment of the towers (60 %).

Project Description
Ø Construction of 152km line of 33KV between Marrupa - Mecula and 20 km of BT network to 0.4/0.23 kV; 12 new PTs and connection of 1,000 new consumers. All poles of the MV line are adequately equipped and deployed, with work to launch conductors underway (80 % already launched)
This project has its end in December 2014

Approval of the Report Evaluation by SIDA is pending and so is the homologation of the contract by MF consultancy, and the mobilization of the contractor is expected in early 2014.
